In technology, Nvidia rose 1.5% after privately raising $500 billion via banks to fund expanded AI infrastructure, further increasing leverage in the sector. In contrast, Intel fell another 1.5%, extending Monday’s 4% decline, after boosting the size of its planned stock offering by $5 billion to $20 billion.

Looking ahead, markets are focused on tomorrow’s US CPI inflation release, which follows recent comments from several FOMC members indicating that a rate hike as soon as next month remains on the table. After the closing bell, SCMI and CoreWeave are scheduled to report quarterly results.
