18.12.202513:39:46UTC+00US Core Inflation Rate Lowest Since March 2021

The annual rate of core consumer price inflation in the United States, excluding the more unpredictable sectors such as food and energy, decreased to 2.6% in November 2025. This marks the lowest rate since March 2021 and falls short of the market's anticipated 3%. Over the past year, the shelter index has risen by 3%. Additionally, there have been notable increases in the indexes for medical care at 2.9%, household furnishings and operations at 4.6%, recreation at 1.8%, and used cars and trucks at 3.6%. Due to the 43-day government shutdown, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) did not gather data for October 2025, resulting in missing figures for October and the absence of monthly rates for November.
